SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON® loves that LUMPIA!
Indie Film Will Feature in Panel Discussion and Exclusive Screening, Both Firsts for a Filipino Feature Film at San Diego’s Comic-Con Special Edition.
In the midst of a remarkable film festival circuit run, “Lumpia With a Vengeance,” the popular, award-winning, Filipino American indie comedy feature AKA THE MOVIE THAT YOU KICKSTARTED, will be the centerpoint of an exclusive panel discussion and screening as part of San Diego Comic-Con Special Edition.
Preceding Friday’s Comic-Con Special Edition premiere screening will be a panel discussion on the unique path the film underwent to production and the subsequent comic book the film inspired as a result. Concept artist Patrick Ballesteros & illustrator Gerald Pilare are among the panelists joining the filmmakers and special guests for the discussion moderated by Winston Emano.
A free limited edition art print by Patrick Ballesteros will be given away to all attendees following the panel/screening. Cast/crew to be in attendance for the panel, screening, post-screening Q&A Fri as well as the following signings in the autograph area of Sails Pavilion:
